Kerr Vernon

KVGD is a graphic design studio with a reputation for delivering intelligent branding communications that engage and inspire across all media platforms.
The studio's own branding includes business cards and A5 covers, featured here.
We letterpress printed four colours and a black ink onto Colorplan 540gsm Cool Grey. Each colour was applied separately and the translucent inks give a very charming effect.

You'll remember Kerr Vernon's name from our lush Impressive Print music mailer . . . and it's just about time for another celebratory pack; celebrating great music, celebrating beautiful paper, celebrating fine letterpress print and amazing design!
Look out for "That's Impressive", coming soon.

DWS

Derek Welsh is a designer and maker of contemporary furniture and bespoke interior projects characterised by the simplicity of angled lines and unique structures.
Graphical House created an all-inclusive identity suite for DWS, designing marketing material and building a website.
DWS business cards are a fine representation of a designer maker who uses prime materials and classic, natural lines in his range of beautiful furniture.
The stock is Colorplan triplex - three sheets of 270gsm sandwiched to make a solid 810gsm.
On the ebony side, we applied the monogram in a glossy black foil. The central layer is a rich, woody citrine. The reverse is bright white and is letterpress printed with an impression in black ink which is precise and clean as the finest woodcarving.

ARtSENSE

This card, designed by Smiling Wolf, is a stunner on various levels. It introduces the amazing ARtSENSE - read about it in the link. The board is the lovely Keaykolour Antique, 400gsm from Arjowiggins which shows letterpress print at its finest in this piece. The inks look fabulous, particularly the neon citrine which seems to have a depth all of its own!
There was a tight deadline on this beauty. First ink on was orange, followed by the neon and finally black. Excellent registration, just the right depth of impression on a card printed to both sides. Trimmed, packed and shipped to Paris.
