This amazing design for Shannon Tofts Photography from Size Design received the Award for Stationery at the Scottish Design Awards this month http://bit.ly/lifkKb
This was a technically challenging task. The stunning T/camera logo required a number of print runs to achieve depth and detail.
Firstly, a solid image of the camera with scant detail was printed with a light impression. The next plate, with additional camera detail, was applied with a heavier hit, printing black on black.
Finally, grey text was printed.
Letterheads are printed on crisp Colorplan 135gsm pristine white and the business cards are a very smart Colorplan Triplex 810gsm, pristine white to ebony to pristine white.

Blue Water Networks
And so the wedding razzmatazz is done, what's next? The honeymoon of course!
The romance of a royal yachting holiday is captured perfectly in this classic business card of weighty Colorplan, letterpress printed ink of turquoise and slate with gleaming foil on the reverse.

Blue Water Networks is a new and exclusive satellite airtime provider for yachts.
"Exclusive" is the key word here, which is why the client chose beautifully crafted business cards over cheaper, mass-produced options.
The design is by Jane Ink and a subtle, turquoise foil has been used to give the logo just the right amount of glamour for the Mediterranean sunshine.

Illustrious Royalty
In the week of the Royal Wedding, Glasgow Press is delighted to feature a remarkable portrait of their right royal highnesses, captured in stunning likeness by London illustrator, David Janes.
So, we didn't print William's wedding invitation, but this beauty - letterpress printed in two colours ink on bright white Colorplan 540gsm - more than makes up for that.
A few words from the illustrator himself . . .

Charles & Camilla laughing as they are driven through the flames...
A promotional mailer which was sent to 500 publishers, magazine and newspaper editors and various art directors.
Each card had a cocktail stick attached to the back, so if you wished you might reenact the scenes from December last year.

You may peruse and purchase some wondrous wares on the website of Mr David Janes.
